The Past
Ask any first-year business student, they know the statistic, 85% of businesses fail in their first 5 years of operation and only 4% of businesses survive after 10 years. For a business to survive and thrive for 50 years, well, it is like finding a unicorn. Unlike mythical unicorns, 50-year-old companies do exist, they are there, but exceedingly rare. Sunny Crunch Foods is one of those rare companies. So why has Sunny Crunch survived when so many have failed? We believe the answers are simple to understand yet profound in application. Firstly, our faith. We believe that wisdom comes from God that success comes from the application of biblical principles and truths. Secondly, we believe in the Spirit of Innovation. The Spirit leads, directs and fills us with new ideas responding to an ever-changing world. Over the 43 years prior to his passing our Founder, Willie Pelzer believed eating wholesome nutritious foods and practiced these essential and fundamental truths. To Willie’s credit, I have has embraced the same values.
The Present
With a catalogue creation of over 240 products, healthy whole food manufacturing is what we do best and veteran leaders, executives, food scientists and pharmacists is who we are. Our mission is to manufacture products to give the body what it needs to heal itself. Our focus is on healthy foods, beverages and terpene cannabinoid therapy research in conjunction with Optimized Nanobubble Technology. For the past 7 years, investments into new innovation push cutting edge food science and mold new products with whole health delivery capacities, creating revolutionary powerful combinations!
The Future
There is a great price to be paid in embracing the future, the letting go of the past. Not everything that is old is bad and not everything that is new is good. Let wisdom be our guide when we further understand technology, the human body and its direct connection with the environment, food science and the use of artificial intelligence becoming more in demand. As we embrace the future, we understand that any organization is only as good as its team talent. Harvesting the old and embracing the new creates the tomorrow. So how will the Spirit of Innovation manifest in the next 50 years? What is the new ingredient “superfood” coming to light? What new artificial intelligence formulae will lead to greater health? Will governments give subsidies to food manufacturers and co-develop total immune health systems that heal the people and increase their lifespan? The answer to these questions are a simple yes, no, or maybe one day. The important thing is to ask these questions now and not wait before it’s too late.
Finally, what we thought about yesterday, what we do today, will manifest tomorrow. Like my Father always said, “you will reap what you sow son”. Thanks Dad for the last 50 years, please continue to help me for the next 50 to come.
